Bio
Rajeev Kumar received his B. Tech. in Textile Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India in 2002. He received M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Immediately after his Ph.D., he worked at the Materials Research Lab, University of California, Santa Barbara, CA as a post-doctoral fellow. After this, he joined the National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Oak Ridge, TN as an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Fellow. In 2012, he joined the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS), ORNL as a research scientist. His current research interests include charge and ion transport in single ion conducting polymer electrolytes, and physics of polyzwitterions in solutions, melts, and near interfaces.
