Pratishtha Shukla

Bio

Pratishtha Shukla joined ORNL as a Postdoc in November 2021 after completing her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Previously she completed her M.Sc in Mathematics and B.E. in Electrical and Lectronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani, Hyderabad campus, India. She got promoted to Research Staff in Computational Science and Engineering Division in April 2024. Her work includes the development of stochastic and simulation-based frameworks for resilience analysis, digital twins, and decision-making under uncertainty, contributing to multiple U.S. Department of Energy initiatives focused on energy infrastructure resilience. Her current research interests include optimization, game theory, information theory, modeling of power, control, and energy systems.
