Nicole White joined ORNL in the Energy Science and Technology Directorate in 2022 as Administrative Assistant supporting researchers in two groups within the Building and Transportation Science Division. The Building Envelope Materials Group conducts research in high-R insulation materials, low carbon building materials, self-healing materials, moisture durability, non-destructive diagnostic tools, and more. The Integrated Building Deployment and Analysis Group conducts analysis on integrated solutions for building energy efficiency and provides unique research to support the Building Technologies Office’s programs. Research spans both residential and commercial/institutional building markets. These groups are part of the Building Technologies Research and Integration Center at ORNL, the DOE’s only dedicated user facility for building technologies. Nicole holds a A.S.S in General Technology.
