Bio
Dr. Bhusal received a B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in December 2015 and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 2018. In 2021, he obtained a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Currently, he is working at Oakridge National Laboratory (ORNL) as a Research Scientist. Prior to joining ORNL, he worked as a Principal Engineer at Quanta Technology LLC.
His research interest includes resilience, reliability, and stability of cyber-physical energy system; application of machine/deep learning in power system; virtual inertia; and community-based energy storage.
