As the Communications Lead for the Fusion and Fission Energy and Science Directorate, Mimi and her team provide comprehensive communications support to showcase the strength of the directorate's research and innovations, broad nuclear collaborations, and extensive scientific expertise in advanced fission and fusion technology.
Mimi first joined the Lab in August 2020 as a Science Communications Team Lead. She then moved into the manager role two years later, and assumed the FFESD Comms Lead role August 1, 2025.
