Mimi A. McHale

In her role in Executive Communications, Mimi supports the Offices of Institutional Strategic Planning and Integrated Performance Management, providing comprehensive communications services.

Mimi joined the Lab in August of 2020 in Science Communications, managing and developing an expanding team of science writers. She was then asked to lead communications for FFESD, and now provides communications support for the OISP and OIPM offices.

Prior to joining ORNL, Mimi directed communications for national corporations focused primarily in the energy, technology and healthcare fields. She earned a Master of Journalism degree from Louisiana State University.
