Bio
Dr. Lilin He is a neutron scattering scientist in Neutron Scattering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He was a postdoc research associate working at the ORNL's neutron scattering facilities after received his Ph.D. in Polymer Physics at Clemson University. In 2012, he joined ORNL as an instrument scientist for the General Purpose Small-Angle Neutron Scattering beamline at HFIR. His research interests lie in the area of characterizing disordered materials using scattering techniques, ranging from soft matter, porous materials for energy applications, to biomolecules under a variety of conditions. He currently also serves as the coordinator of Soft Matter and Polymers Initiative of Neutron Scattering Division.
