Bio
Kazi Asifuzzaman, Ph.D has joined Architecture and Performance Group (APG) at ORNL as a Research Scientist in 2021. His research primarily focuses on Memory Systems in High Performance Computing, including performance analysis, optimization of memory sub-systems, analysis of novel and emerging memory technologies. Prior to this, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), Spain.
Dr. Kazi received his Ph.D in Computer Architecture from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain in 2019; Master in Electronic Design from Lund University, Sweden in 2013 and Bachelor in Computer Engineering from North South University, Bangladesh in 2008. He also worked for a year on IT systems at Shimizu Densetsu Kogyo Co. Ltd (SEAVAC), Japan.
