Jordan W Webb

HPC Linux Systems Engineer

Jordan is a member of the HPC Scalable Systems group.

Jordan began his role at ORNL in late 2021. He is responsible for porting and writing system management tools, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining software for systems in the NCCS computing environments. In addition, he also manages the Ascent, Defiant, and Odo HPC clusters for the OLCF. Prior to his current position at ORNL he participated in a summer internship in the Scalable Systems group where he gained an introduction to high performance computing and competed in the student cluster competition at SC'19.

Jordan achieved his Associate of Applied Science degree from Pellissippi State Community College in Information Technology focusing on system administration. He then completed his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus in networking and system administration from Arizona State University.
