Jihoon Chung

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Jihoon Chung is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). His research focuses on cross-domain interoperability through semantic web technologies, integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Internet of Things (IoT), schema enhancement, and development of specialized tools. He holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he developed web-based building monitoring systems for indoor environments and occupant behavior. Previously, he served as a research affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), as an intern at Autodesk Research, and as an ORISE graduate researcher at ORNL.
