Frank M Brinkley

Technical Associate Staff Member - Metals Additive Manufacturing

Frank Brinkley is an associate technical staff member in the Deposition Science and Technology group at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Brinkley's work primarily focuses on electron beam and laser powder bed fusion. His current research includes process development, in-situ monitoring, and process-structure-property characterization of high temperature alloys produced via additive manufacturing. He is currently a participating member of ASTM committee F42 on Additive Manufacturing Technologies. Brinkley earned his MS and BS in mechanical engineering at Mississippi State University.
