Bio
Dr. Fahima Islam is a Neutronics Scientist at Neutron Sciences Directorate. She received her PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2017. She was a postdoctoral research associate at Neutron Sciences Directorate before becoming the staff. She is specialized in developing Monte Carlo Ray Tracing algorithms, developing novel concept for neutron instrument design such as super resolution reconstruction of phonon scattering data, optimization of 3D printed collimators for high pressure neutron scattering environment.
