Eugene Mamontov

Instrument Scientist

Eugene Mamontov received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. He was a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Takeshi Egami at the University of Pennsylvania until 2003, when he became a research associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology Center for Neutron Research and the University of Maryland. Since 2006, he has been a staff member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His current research interests concern microscopic dynamics in various systems, from liquids to biological and soft matter. He is a co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed publications.
