Dana R Mcclurg

Staff Technician

Dana McClurg serves as a skilled and experienced research technician at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) specializing in high temperature materials characterization since 2010.  Dana has served for 13 years as Lab Space Manager (LSM) for six laboratories within the High Temperature Materials Laboratory (HTML) building and as a Pressure Systems custodian for systems within HTML.  Dana earned her BS degree in Engineering Technology, AS in Mechanical Engineering, and AAS degrees in Mechanical Engineering Technology (Mechanical Design & Quality Control.)  Dana is a lifelong student and pursues higher education every year for extended learning and increased technical skill including robotics and 3D parametric modeling.  Dana supports various research programs such as Fossil Energy (FE), Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs), Vehicle Technologies (VTO), and other Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs).
