Dr. Chi-Huan Tung is a postdoctoral researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, specializing in the integration of statistical inference, machine learning, and molecular simulations for advanced analysis of small-angle scattering (SAS) data. With a Ph.D. from National Tsing Hua University, his research bridges mesoscale modeling and experimental characterization to extract physical insights from complex, disordered, and dynamic materials systems. Dr. Tung has developed novel simulation frameworks, including meta-dynamics via autonomous basin climbing, and data-driven inference tools that significantly enhance the interpretability of scattering experiments. His career vision centers on advancing materials informatics for soft condensed materials, contributing to both experimental capability development and theoretical understanding through interdisciplinary innovation.
