Charity Christopher is an Administrative Assistant for the Manufacturing Science Division (MSD). With over eight years of experience in global corporate environments, Charity brings a wealth of expertise in learning and development, business process management, and organizational operations. Since joining ORNL in October 2024, Charity has been an integral part of supporting administrative functions while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Manufacturing Science Division.
Prior to joining ORNL, Charity served as the Global Learning Program Manager, where her team was responsible for the creation and implementation of the Global Learning and Development Framework. This included managing large-scale training projects and launching global programs to support organizational growth and employee development. Notably, her team developed and facilitated the Supervisor Foundations program and played a key role in the creation of a strategic onboarding program that improved new hire retention by 40%. She also served as Workday Learning Management System Administrator for over 6,500 employees, further showcasing her leadership in organizational learning.
In addition to her learning and development background, Charity has extensive experience in business process management and quality systems. As the Business Process Manager, she led cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, designed quality management software training, and managed the development of e-Learning content. She was also instrumental in enhancing corporate training initiatives, contributing to a 99% positive feedback rate for courses delivered.
Charity holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has specialized in instructional design, process optimization, and technical training. Her skills in using tools like Articulate 360, Microsoft Office Suite, and Workday Learning Management System enabled her to create high-quality, engaging learning experiences that support business goals.
