Bio
Cameron Campbell currently serves as a Nuclear Reactor Controller (NRC) and holds a Reactor Operator (RO) certification at Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s (ORNL) High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR).
Cam has worked at the HFIR since 2022, becoming certified as a reactor operator in January 2023. Before coming to ORNL, Cam worked with the US Navy as part of the naval nuclear power program, serving as an Engineering Laboratory Technician and Machinist's Mate aboard USS Ronald Reagan in Yokosuka Japan. Following this, he served as an instructor in the training department at the Nuclear Power Training Unit in Charleston, South Carolina.
