Bio
I am a Financial Analyst for the Neutron Scattering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since February 2020. As for my education, I am a 2019 graduate from the University of Tennessee Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Program. I also completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Tennesse. I received my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in March of 2020.
Professional Experience
I am an experienced financial analyst with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license that has five years of experience as a full-time staff member at Oak Ridge National lab supporting both indirect and direct organizations. In addition, I was a financial intern for the Business Operations Directorate supporting the Neutron Sciences Directorate at Oak Ridge National lab on and off for two to three years while completing my undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Tennessee. As I have gained more experience and earned the trust of my managers, I have gone above and beyond my normal job duties by leading the Financial Analysts’ Advisory Board (FAAB) for the last 2 years, completing the Battelle Early Career Development Program in 2022, and participating in the training of new financial analysts.
In addition to my experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, I have also been a Graduate Teaching Assistant within the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and completed an audit internship at LBMC in Knoxville.
