
Bio
Barry Winn received his PhD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2000 and joined Brookhaven National Laboratory as a postdoc, later transitioning to assistant physicist and then physicist. In 2009 he joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory as an Instrument Scientist. Barry's research concentrates on using neutron scattering to study quantum materials, and in developing instrumentation for neutron scattering and polarized neutron scattering.
