Quality Representative

Amanda provides quality support to the ORNL Isotope Program. Her responsibilities include the development and on-going support of the ISO 9001:2015 registered quality management system for the Stable Isotope Materials and Chemistry Group, the Enriched Gaseous Chemistry Group, and the National Isotope Development Center in addition to overall support to the ORNL Isotope Program.

Amanda has more than 37 years of experience in quality and applied industrial statistics. Prior to working at ORNL, she worked at Motorola and at DOE facilities in both Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Portsmouth, Ohio. She has implemented quality tools for product and non-product areas. She has supported ISO 17025 accredited quality management systems and led successful efforts to acquire additional accreditations at ORNL. In addition to her extensive quality experience, she has developed and maintained organizational strategic business plans and risk management programs. She is a Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt by the American Society for Quality and is an ORNL Certified Lead Auditor.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in statistics with a business minor from the University of Tennessee.
