The SCALE quality assurance (QA) program is kept current with international consensus standards (ISO-9001-20018, American Society of Mechanical Engineers [ASME] NQA-1), US Department of Energy (DOE) order (DOE 414.1D), NRC guidelines (NUREG/BR-0167) and the ORNL Standards-Based Management System. A review of the SCALE QA plan is performed annually by the ORNL Nuclear Energy and Fuel Cycle Division Software QA Board.
