Q-Sense Pro Gravimetric / Viscoelastic Thin Film Properties Measurement System

FHN Qsense pro

The QsensePro (Biolin) is based on quartz crystal microbalance with the dissipation (QCM-D), a surface sensitive technique for analysis of surface related interactions. The changes in the mass, thickness and viscoelastic properties of the film deposited on QCM-D are monitored in time-resolved mode. Processes measured include adsorption/desorption, binding interactions, cross-linking, swelling/collapse, degradation and etching.

  • Number of Channels: 8
  • QCM size: 14.5 mm
  • QCM-D electrode coating… Au, Ag, Pt, TiO2, SiO2 and others
  • Minimum sample volume: 50 μl
  • Temperature range: 4-70°C
  • Time resolution: 0.005 s
  • Simultaneously monitored harmonics: 7
  • Fully automated 24/7 experimental platform

Tailoring interfacial polymer based systems and biomolecular interfacial interactions (monolayer, bilayers vesicles), membranes, drug discovery.
