Bio
Zach is a Technical Specialist working on the US Department of Energy Systems Biology Knowledgebase (KBase).
Zach primarily serves as the primary point of contact and coordinator for the KBase Help Desk, responsible for responding to bugs as well as answering questions about KBase usage and connecting users to specialized subject matter experts to advance the users' research. Additionally, he coordinates the software release process for integrating new features, apps, and bugfixes into KBase.
Zach also works with KBase users to aid them in making their datasets produced in public more FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) by registering datasets with DataCite and promoting data citation.
