Zachary J Morgan

Neutron Scattering Scientist

Zach Morgan is a Computational Instrument Scientist for the Single Crystal Diffraction group within the Diffraction Section of the Neutron Scattering Division. His research spans computational materials science modeling and atomistic Monte Carlo methods for disordered systems. He has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Michigan Technological University where he developed multiphysics phase field models. His work was supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). He is a member of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), American Physical Society (APS), and American Crystallographic Association (ACA).
