Yongqiang Cheng

Bio

YQ Cheng is a Distinguished Staff Scientist at the Spallation Neutron Source. His research combines atomistic modeling, neutron scattering, and advanced data analytics to elucidate the fundamental mechanisms that govern the properties and performance of materials. Recent efforts focus on developing data-driven methods to bridge the gap between experiments and simulations, enhance the throughput and efficiency of scientific instruments, and accelerate materials discovery and design.
