Bio
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and both a Master of Science in Physics from Idaho State University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My strong foundation in physics, coupled with advanced training in computer science, allows me to approach complex technical challenges from both scientific and engineering perspectives.
From 2012 to 2017, I worked as a health physicist, applying my expertise to ensure safety and compliance with regulations in environments involving radiation. After my tenure in health physics, I pursued further education in computer science, gaining valuable skills that now apply to software development in my current role.
At Oak Ridge National Laboratory, I focus primarily on software engineering, leveraging my knowledge of various development technologies including web, Android, and other platforms. A diverse background in both physics and computer science enables me to contribute effectively to a wide range of innovative projects.
