Bio
Ryan came to ORNL in August of 2024 as the REDC Laboratory Chemical Operations Group Leader. Ryan has a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, both from the University of Tennessee, where he was also a member of the football team, and brings extensive work experience to ORNL. From 2014 to 2024, Ryan worked at Y-12 National Security Complex in various roles across the complex to support Y-12's mission and to sustain operations to meet the future demands of NNSA stockpile.

Ryan was born and raised in Kingston, TN. He loves spending time with his family and supporting his daughters in their sports and activities.
