Bio
I am a postdoctoral researcher with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in additive manufacturing and material characterization of high-temperature and refractory alloys for extreme environments. My doctoral research at the University of Alabama focused on laser peening of Ni-based superalloys, where I investigated high-temperature microstructure evolutions of surface treated single- and poly-crystalline alloys. My expertise lies in understanding and optimizing the microstructure of materials subjected to extreme conditions. I am passionate about advancing manufacturing technologies, particularly for applications where material durability and performance are critical.
Outside of my research, I enjoy photography, reading, and playing video games. Iām also an avid F1 fan, and in my free time, I love spending time with my girlfriend and our black cat, Beanie, in Knoxville.
