Bio
Nick is a HPC Linux Clusters Engineer on NCCS and Cades in the High-Performance Computing (HPC) Clusters Group in the HPC Systems Section.
Nick has worked as a HPC system administration at Conoco Phillips on their Seismic Imaging cluster in Houston, TX. Nick worked at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida with Space Shuttle Payloads working Spacelab experiment checkout and Space Station Utilization. He worked at KSC on the team that operated ksc.nasa.gov in the early days of the Web, focused around Space Shuttle launches and Payload Operations. Nick has recently worked Launch Vehicle Flight Software for the NASA Commercial Crew program, working with SpaceX Falcon 9 team to launch Astronauts to Space Station, most recently on the Crew-8 mission. He worked at Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago, IL at the Center for Nanoscale Materials as Network and Systems manager, supporting their team at their DOE scientific user facility.
Education
Nick earned a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University and a MS in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
