Accelerator Physics Group Leader, Ring Area Physicist
Bio
Nick currently serves as the Accelerator Physics Group Leader, Ring Area Physicist for the Spallation Neutron Source, and manager of both Ring Systems, and R&D for the Proton Power Upgrade. He received his PhD in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014. In January 2015 he joined the Beam Instrumentation team as a post doctoral researcher and in 2016 he was hired as an Accelerator Physicist. His research interests are focused on improving the performance of high power accelerators, and the development of new techniques and technologies for future machines.
