Bio
Mallory is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Computational and Predictive Biology Group working under Dr. Daniel Jacobson. Her research leverages genetic data from single nuclei through population scales, using computational systems biology approaches to uncover genetic mechanisms influencing plant phenotypes. She completed her PhD in 2023 at the University of Florida in the Forest Genomics Lab with Dr. Gary Peter, where her work focused on identifying candidate genes to enhance pine feedstocks for bioenergy and climate resilience.
