Bio
Katherine Howe joined the US ITER Project in 2023 as Quality Assurance Engineer. She is responsible for assisting the implementation of the quality program and providing quality assessments, evaluating the risk associated with findings, as well as conducting activities relating to promote contract performance and vendor activities. Katherine provides support to the Ion Cyclotron Resonance Heating, Electron Cyclotron Resonance Heating, and Port Integration systems.
Katherine previously worked as a Quality Control Supervisor at a polymer manufacturer where she was responsible for managing laboratory operations, data collection and analysis, equipment maintenance, and material requisition and inventory.
Katherine holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida.
