Bio
I have a Master of Science degree in material science and engineering from the University of North Texas where my thesis focused on the ultrasonic processing of aluminum 2139 and 7050.
In my current position with the Isotope Processing and Manufacturing Division at ORNL, I help with the pellet fabrication and target production for the Pu-238 program.
Professional Experience
Previously at ORNL I was a Materials Testing and Evaluation Engineer in the Materials Science and Technology Division. In that position: I performed mechanical testing, characterization, and analysis of unirradiated and irradiated specimens, disassembled irradiation capsules, and designed fixtures to expand testing capabilities in and out of hot cell environments.
