Jimmy Selph is an experienced radioactive waste management professional with over 30 years of expertise in radioactive material management, hazardous material transportation, and quality assurance. Serving as a Waste Services Representative at ORNL since 2005, Jimmy provides direct support for the characterization, packaging, and disposal of radioactive and mixed waste, while also driving process improvement and training initiatives.

Jimmy’s extensive career includes leadership roles in waste certification and radioactive operations across Department of Energy and commercial facilities. Notably, he played a vital role in streamlining transuranic waste certification processes while managing large-scale projects at Rocky Flats Environmental Technology Site. A U.S. Navy veteran, Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State College and maintains multiple certifications, including NQA-1 Lead Auditor and Radiation Protection Technologist.
