Bio
Mr. Williams has been serving as the the contractor Fire Protection Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for UT-Battelle managed facilities at ORNL since Sept. 2024. Previously, he has served as the Deputy Fire Protection AHJ (Feb.-Aug. 2024) and as the Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) supporting the Research Reactors Division at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (Apr. 2013-July 2024).
Jesse holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in California and Tennessee.
