Henry J Monge Camacho

Computational Scientist-Lattice QCD

Henry Monge-Camacho obtained his PhD from the College of William and Mary in 2019 for his work on the calculation of nuclear matrix elements from Lattice QCD, a technique to numerically solve the effects of strong interactions between elementary particles. He has held postdoctoral positions at both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and ORNL, as well as a visiting professor position at the University of Costa Rica. Henry’s work at ORNL involves the improvement and further development of applications for Lattice QCD calculations.
