
Bio
Harisree Krishnamoorthy is a postdoctoral research associate with the neutrino physics group in the physical sciences division. She holds a PhD from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, India. At ORNL, she works on the data analysis for the LEGEND experiment, which searches for neutrinoless double-beta decay in germanium-76 isotope. She focuses on developing new pulse shape discrimination techniques to improve the background rejection capabilities in LEGEND. She is also involved in the of development of radiopure ,3D-printed scintillators for LEGEND.
She is a public outreach enthusiast who is passionate about communicating scientific research to the public, especially the students and has delivered a number of presentations in this regard. She was also a finalist of the lightning research talk competition at ORNL Your Science in a Nutshell, in the year 2024.
