Bio
Greg Stephens is a Target Systems Engineer in the Research Accelerator Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Spallation Neutron Source. His expertise is in the engineering and operation of industrial process, ventilation and cooling systems. Mr. Stephens has previously worked as a Naval Nuclear Reactor Operator and commercial nuclear power plant operator. In 2008, he joined the Neutron Sciences Directorate in the Target Operations Group and has been serving as a Target Systems engineer since 2013. He has been the First Target Station manager for the Proton Power Upgrade since 2023..
He has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Excelsior University, Albany, NY, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
