DeAnn Ingram manages the Personnel Security organization that is part of the Laboratory Protection Division. Her main responsibility is to oversee operations of the Visitor Center. The ORNL Visitor Center is the first place that many visitors see while visiting ORNL. Her goal is to make the Visitor Center a place where visitors can get information about the Lab and where they are going, while getting badged appropriately. Personnel Security badges all staff and nonemployees, as appropriate. ORNL has 40,000 visitors annually and 7,000 employees - all who will be be processed through the Visitor Center. Other responsibilities of Personnel Security include processing access authorizations, incoming and outgoing classified visits, managing the Human Reliability Program and the Facility Clearance/FOCI program.
DeAnn has more than 30 years of ORNL experience in Business Services and Facilities and Operations, Her ORNL career has been spent helping the operations in support of the Laboratory’s research mission. In her role in Business Services, she was responsible for the DOE direct budget cycle, the indirect budget cycle. She managed indirect budgets for all overhead pools totaling over $250M. She was part of the SAP implementation team and enjoys working with various stakeholder to improves processes.
