Brad E Skidmore

Bio

Brad came to ORNL in early 2021, after 13 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he led the start-up of the Am-241 oxide production line.

A Technical Senior Staff Member, Brad is involved with Th-229 production from U-233, Pu-238 production and Cf-252 production, with an emphasis on process improvement.

Brad holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of New Mexico.

He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), the American Nuclear Society (ANS) and the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management.
