Bio
Alessandro has worked on quantum few- and many-body problems originated in nuclear and condensed matter physics using quantum computing methods. In particular he has been working on the adaptation and implementation of quantum algorithms for Hamiltonian simulation and error mitigation protocols on current and near term quantum devices. Alessandro will contribute to the mission of the Science Engagement section as a liaison between the OLCF and quantum computing users, and will pursue research directions in quantum computing and quantum many-body problems.
