Bio
Ajay Pratap Yadav is a Research Scientist in the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), where he has been working since 2021. His research focuses on smart grids, power systems, and the application of machine learning in energy systems. He has extensive expertise in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) emulation and rapid control prototyping.
Dr. Yadav earned his B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (2010) and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (2014), respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2021. Prior to his graduate studies, he worked as an E&M Engineer at Coal India Limited from 2010 to 2012.
