Nuclear Criticality Group

The Nuclear Criticality Safety Group applies research and development in modeling and simulation techniques related to nuclear criticality safety.  Researchers in the group apply their wealth of experience in physics and nuclear engineering to support the nuclear criticality safety community in areas like storage, transportation, and disposal of nuclear fuel, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, integral experiment design, and shielding benchmarks. The group also contributes to code development and training in nuclear criticality safety.
