Lindsey Twardy

Chief of Staff

Lindsey Twardy is Chief of Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In this role, she serves as an advisor to the Laboratory Director and helps to integrate leadership across ORNL to advance the Lab’s vision, fulfill mission objectives, and ensure operational effectiveness.

Lindsey joined ORNL in 2013 and has served as the executive business partner to the Lab Director, as well as the ORNL protocol and executive communications officer. Prior to joining the Laboratory, she was vice president for the East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC), where she developed relationships across Oak Ridge’s DOE contractor community and with local, state, and federal officials. She is a former ETEC board member and currently serves on The National GEM Consortium Board of Directors.
