The proposed technology makes the polyphase wireless charging pads interoperable to the conventional single phase wireless charging pads. The proposed passive reverse coupled inductor (RCI) maintain the tuning frequency of the interoperable polyphase system and improve the current balancing. This compact RCI required no switching component, making it a compact and efficient interoperability solution. Switched capacitor is another solution for interoperability. The switched capacitor is turned-on only during the interoperating operations. Therefore, during the polyphase-polyphase operation the efficiency remains at maximum.
