Muneer Alshowkan

Muneer received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Masters of Science degree in Information, Network, and Computer Security at the New York Institute of Technology in New York, New York. Muneer joined ORNL as a postdoctoral research associate and is currently a research scientist. His research interests include quantum networking, quantum communications and computer science and engineering. Prior to joining ORNL, he was an Assistant Professor teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in computer science, computer networking, and cybersecurity.
