Blake W. Billings

Dr. Blake Billings is an R&D Associate and Energy Engineer in the Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Research & analysis (MEERA) Group in the Manufacturing Science Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). His research supports energy efficiency and smarter energy use for manufacturers across the U.S.

He actively supports:

Technical assistance and workforce development for energy-intensive industries (Program Page)

His research focuses on industrial load flexibility and analyzing and utilizing industrial interval data. He is an alumnus of DOE’s Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) program. He has extensive experience with energy audits at various small to medium sized manufacturers, commercial buildings, government and public facilities, and is a Certified Energy Manager through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
