Bio
Sumit Bahl is a research staff member in the Alloy Behavior and Design Group within the Materials Science and Technology Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He joined ORNL as a post-doctoral researcher in 2019. He received his PhD degree in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and Bachelor of Technology degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, UA, India. His current research interests include mechanical behavior of lightweight alloys, alloy design, and sustainable lightweight alloys.
