Rachel L Seibert

Bio

Dr. Rachel L. Seibert is a research scientist in the Advanced Fuel Fabrication and Instrumentation Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Her research focuses on fuel fabrication and nuclear fuel material post-irradiation examination with an emphasis on microencapsulated fuel forms. Prior to joining ORNL as a postdoctoral researcher in 2018, Dr. Seibert received her Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Dr. Seibert currently is Chair of the American Nuclear Society Oak Ridge/Knoxville Local Section.
