Priyesh A Wagh

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Dr. Priyesh Wagh is a chemical engineering graduate from University of Kentucky with over six years of experience in membrane technology. In his previous assignments, he played an instrumental role in the development of biomimetic and bio-inspired membranes, and removal of algal toxins using membrane separations at University of Kentucky. He has significant experience in working with the industries such as Pure Blue Tech inc, Seattle, where the onus was on reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes for water treatment. As the lead process engineer in an early age Lean startup “The Sustainable Products Company”, he managed multiple responsibilities such as manufacturing, IP, financial, and marketing strategies. He joined the Membrane Technologies team at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in January 2019, where he tackles challenges in developing cost-effective and scalable advanced separation and purification systems.
