Bio

Dr. Femi Omitaomu (Senior Member, IEEE) received his PhD degree in Industrial Engineering with concentration in Information Engineering from the University of Tennessee. His BS and MS degrees are in Mechanical Engineering. His areas of expertise include artificial intelligence in energy infrastructure systems, anomaly detection in complex systems, and energy infrastructure siting and analysis. As of December 2021, he has 1 R&D 100 Award, 1 R&D 100 Finalist Award, 2 issued patents, 6 invention disclosures, 3 certificates of registration, and 1 copyright certificate.
